twintangibles is an Anglo/Italian research-led business advisory firm that helps organisations identify and create value and opportunities from the application of social and collaborative technologies, and through the understanding of the behaviours that underpin their use.
Our commissioned and self initiated research means that we can provide advice and guidance to organisations from an informed position, helping them to comprehend, adjust, grow and thrive in what could otherwise be a confusing and challenging business landscape.
The origins of twintangibles are found in a series of Social Media collaborative research projects which brought together the founders of the company Daniela Castrataro and Tim Wright and which led to the company being founded in 2010.
Tim Wright, Director and Co-Founder
Tim has worked as a consultant, practitioner and senior manager with a number of global commercial organisations including Egon Zehnder International and McKinsey & Co. For five years he was part of the executive management team of ITI Scotland – a £500M innovation programme based around a highly collaborative open innovation crowdsourcing model. A graduate of both Durham University and Robert Gordons Universtity has an MBA with Distinction from the ULSM, and is a past winner of the Ashridge/Guardian MBA Essay of the Year. Tim is a speaker and commentator at many events and includes the OECD amongst the organisations that have sought his insight. He is a member of the External Advisory Board of ULSM.
Daniela Castrataro, Director and Co-Founder
After a Masters level degree in Translation and Languages for International Communication, Daniela worked as an Evaluation and Research Manager at the Intellectual Assets Centre (Scotland), gaining a lot of useful insight into Scottish business landscape as well as a strong practical knowledge in intangibles and how to exploit them to generate business value. Daniela has a Master in E-learning and occasionally works as an e-tutor for the Italian University of Tuscia. She is the Italian ambassador for the European Crowdfunding Network.
